SDR systems have flexible functionality which allows them to be re-configured or can also be modified by upgrading the software if necessary. This has enabled the cost of such devices to be high altogether. Due to the integration of those systems through defense and commercial applications, the SDR market is evolving at a significant rate over the forecast period.
